What we can help with

Write to us about:

  • A page that’s wrong or out of date. This is the most useful message you can send us. See corrections.
  • Something that isn’t explained clearly enough, or a question a page should answer and doesn’t.
  • What actually happened when you applied. Approved, denied, stuck in review, offered a device you didn’t expect — real applicant experience is how this site stays accurate, and it shapes what we write next.
  • Provider and device information. If a carrier is offering (or has stopped offering) an iPhone in your state, tell us. We’ll verify it and update the device pages.
  • A scam site you’ve run into. We track them.
  • Press, research, or interview requests.

What we can’t help with

  • Checking, changing, expediting, or appealing your application
  • Telling you whether you personally will be approved
  • Contacting a provider on your behalf
  • Legal advice of any kind, including anything involving immigration status and benefits
  • Recommending which provider you should choose — we publish what we’ve verified about each and you decide

Response time: Art reads and answers messages himself, usually within two to three business days. Corrections are prioritized over everything else.

Please don’t send us personal information

A note on your privacy

Never send us your Social Security number, date of birth, benefit case numbers, or copies of identity documents — not to this site, and not to any website that isn’t the official National Verifier or your chosen provider.

We don’t need any of it, we don’t want it, and no legitimate informational site does. If a message arrives containing that kind of information, we delete it and reply without quoting it.

If you’re describing your situation to us, describe it in general terms — “denied for income verification in Texas” tells us everything useful without telling us anything sensitive.

We don’t publish reader correspondence, and we don’t use anyone’s situation as an example without asking permission first. Details are in the privacy policy.

Reporting a scam

If a website or caller asked you to pay a fee, demanded personal information, or promised a guaranteed device, report it to the people with authority to act:

Then tell us too, so we can warn other readers.
